This policy explains how ADEN IO LTD ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit our website or use our software, including our advertising application that connects to Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram).

1. Who we are

ADEN IO LTD is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

2. Data we collect

Information you give us

• Account details such as your name, email address and business name when you sign up or contact us.
• Content you upload to create adverts, such as images, text and your chosen target location and budget.
• Billing details for our subscription. Card payments are processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers.

Information from Meta (Facebook Login)

If you connect your Facebook account, and only with your permission, we receive:

• Your Facebook user ID, name and email address.
• A list of the Facebook Pages and ad accounts you choose to give us access to.
• An access token that lets our app act on the permissions you granted (for example ads_management, ads_read, pages_show_list and business_management).
• Advertising performance data for campaigns created through our app, such as spend, reach, clicks and messages.

Information collected automatically

• Basic technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, used for security and to keep the service running. We only use essential cookies unless you agree otherwise.

3. How we use your data

• To provide the service you asked for: creating, managing and reporting on adverts in the ad accounts you connected.
• To manage your account, subscription and customer support.
• To keep our service secure and prevent misuse.
• To meet our legal obligations.

We use data received from Meta only to provide our service to you, in line with the Meta Platform Terms. We do not sell your data, use it for our own advertising, or share it with data brokers.

4. Legal basis (UK GDPR)

• Contract: to provide the service you signed up for.
• Consent: when you connect your Facebook account and grant permissions. You can withdraw consent at any time.
• Legitimate interests: to secure and improve our service.
• Legal obligation: for example, keeping financial records.

5. Who we share data with

• Meta Platforms: to create and manage adverts on your behalf through the Meta Marketing API.
• Service providers who host our software, process payments or send emails, under contracts that protect your data.
• Authorities where required by law.

Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we use appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or adequacy regulations.

6. How long we keep data

We keep account and Facebook data while your account is active. If you disconnect Facebook or close your account, we delete Facebook data, including access tokens, within 30 days. Billing records are kept for 6 years to meet UK tax law.

7. Security

Access tokens and personal data are encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is limited to people who need it to run the service.

8. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your data, and to data portability. To use these rights, email abdullah@adenio.co.uk. We will respond within one month.

You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

9. Data deletion instructions

You can ask us to delete all data we hold about you, including data received from Facebook, at any time.

Deleting your data does not delete adverts or ad accounts that belong to you on Meta. Those stay under your control in Meta Ads Manager.

10. Children

Our services are for businesses and are not intended for anyone under 18.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page with the date it was last updated.
